Consultation
Our Process

Our process is designed to ensure that every aspect of your project is carefully considered and expertly executed.  We begin with an initial on-site consultation, during which, we take the time to explore our client's needs, lifestyle, and design aspirations. We also take detailed measurements and document existing conditions, so that we can create design drawings that are accurate and tailored to you.

Design Proposal
Our Process

After the consultation, we create a comprehensive design proposal. It includes a detailed breakdown of the interior design services we offer, as well as the associated costs. 

Interior Design
Our Process

Upon approval, we use the latest 3-D modeling software to create a realistic design. This design brings your vision to life, including all proposed material applications, fixtures, finishes, appliances, and furniture. This enables our clients to envision the entire project before construction begins, leaving no room for errors, questions, or delays. We also work with you to make real-time changes to the design to best suit your vision. Every design is custom-crafted to meet your expectations.

Estimate
Our Process

Once the design is approved, we create a line item estimate from the drawings. This ensures an accurate cost associated with all materials, fixtures, and finishes selected during the design process. The estimate includes all labor, material, and subcontractors.

Architectural Drawings
Our Process

After the estimate is approved, we proceed to create precise architectural drawings. These drawings are crucial for the purpose of obtaining permits and carrying out construction, and are comprised of all architectural, electrical, plumbing, and customized millwork drawings required to bring your project to fruition.

Project Management
Our Process

Once the necessary permits have been obtained, the project is handed over to our project manager and lead carpenter. They establish and seek homeowner approval for a construction schedule. All subcontractors are then scheduled accordingly. We source, procure, and deliver fixtures and finishes to our warehouse to prepare for construction. This ensures that everything is ready before construction begins.

Custom Millwork
Our Process

Before we start working on your project, we would like to invite you to visit our workshop at the Carriage Barn. This is where our skilled artisans create all the custom cabinetry, furniture, and millwork. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to see the progress of your custom kitchen as it is being fabricated. You will also work closely with the interior designer to design and layout the custom cabinetry and millwork, choose paint finishes, custom stains, cabinet organization, and custom profiles and details.

Construction
Our Process

Once all architectural drawings, permits, fixtures, finishes, and custom millwork are completed, we can begin construction. We employ a team of talented carpenters with extensive experience in framing, drywall installation, tile installation, and finish carpentry. We employ and manage subcontractors that handle all electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. All subcontractors have long worked with the Carriage Barn and are trusted and licensed professionals. Throughout construction, you work closely with the construction team and interior designer to ensure no details are missed, and the project is completed to your high standards.
